To apply for this course, applicants will require the following:
UK Level 3 with minimum 48 UCAS tariff points, or
Access qualification must have achieved a minimum of 45 credits, or
EU/Overseas qualifications equivalent to UK level 3.
* Applicants aged 21 and above, who may not meet the standard entry requirements, could still be eligible for admission if they have at least two years of relevant work experience. This experience should showcase transferable skills and knowledge, including effective communication, efficient time management, strong organisational abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

The assessment strategy aims to fulfil the learning outcomes by combining traditional assessment types with a variety of authentic assessments which allow students to progressively develop their skills throughout the four years of the programme.
Formative assessment and feedback is a key part of the programme’s strategy. These will allow students to practise new tasks and receive regular feedback, to give them guidance and confidence to perform well for their summative assessments. These could include presentations, work related projects, group-work, computer based simulations, essays, videos and business reports.

The fees above are for the 2024/25 academic year but may be subject to change following any announcements by the UK Government (approved by Parliament) regarding maximum Undergraduate tuition fee caps for 2024/25.
In addition, ESL reserves the right to increase all full-time and part-time Undergraduate tuition fees mid-course, in line with any further inflationary increase in the Government tuition fee cap which is approved by Parliament. ESL will publish information about any changes to tuition fees on its website.
The Business Management and Marketing programme provides opportunities for students to engage with entrepreneurs and start-up businesses and the world of business.
Business Management and Marketing graduates will develop a wide range of employability skills including use of IT, numeracy skills, technical skills, basic literacy and use of English, analysis skills, positive attitude to work, team working, problem solving, communication skills, knowledge about their chosen job/career, international cultural awareness, self-management/resilience, relevant work experience and business & customer awareness.
These skills will equip them to undertake a variety of junior marketing roles in marketing, in areas such as sales support, marketing research, social media manager, marketing communications, product management, or in marketing consultancy.
Work Placement, Employability and Careers form part of our Student Engagement Framework and advice is offered to students in finding work placements or work opportunities, which are of genuine value to course learning objectives and a student’s career goals by connecting them directly with trusted placement providers.
The team will guide students in making an application to a placement provider and offer support over the course of their placements. Additionally, the team provide students with support and guidance throughout the process of career readiness; this may include advice and support on updating their CVs, cover letters, application forms and interview techniques and practice.
