Disability support

As an institution, we are dedicated to providing equal opportunities to all students, irrespective of their disabilities, mental health problems, or any other differences.

Get the necessary support

To ensure that students with disabilities receive the necessary support to achieve academic success, we have a specialised Student Disability team that offers advice and assistance to those who may face barriers to independent study at ESL due to their disabilities. The team provides support to students with a wide range of disabilities.

You can book a meeting with a Well-being Officers to discuss additional supports.

Financial support for students with disabilities

We are aware that students with disabilities may incur extra essential costs directly related to their disabilities. Therefore, the Disability Team is here to help you access all the financial support available. The Disabled Students' Allowances (DSAs) are UK government funds that support students with physical and mental disabilities, including dyslexia and dyspraxia.
